    1. A particular or distinct part or element of a problem, subject, etc.
      Example: probed every aspect of the murder case
    2. A particular way of considering a matter.
      Example: It's a very serious matter from all aspects
      Thesaurus: viewpoint, point of view, outlook, position, perspective, regard, slant, spin (slang).
    3a. The appearance something has to the eye;
      Example: a lush green aspect
    3b. A look or appearance, especially of a face.
      Example: a worried aspect

    4. The direction something faces.
      Example: a garden with a southern aspect
    5a. astron.astrol.
      The position of a planet in relation to the Sun as viewed from the Earth;

    6. grammar.
      A verbal form in certain languages, eg Russian and other Slavonic languages, that expresses features such as simple action, repetition, beginning, duration, continuity, completedness, habituality, etc.
