    1. To put into the proper or desired order.
      Example: arranged the flowers

    2. To settle the plans for something.
      Example: arranged their holiday
      Thesaurus: plan, prepare for, coordinate, determine, devise, scheme, construct, contrive, design, schedule, organize, stage-manage, swing (slang).
    3. To make a mutual agreement.
    4. To make (a piece of music) suitable for particular voices or instruments.

    5. To adapt (a play, novel, etc), especially for broadcast on TV or radio.
