    bingos
    1. A game of chance, especially one for cash prizes, in which each player has a card with a set of numbers on it, and may cover a number if it is called out at random by the bingo-caller, the winner being the first player with a card on which all or a certain sequence of the numbers have been called. Formerly called housey-housey and lotto.
exclamation
    1. The word shouted by the winner of a game of bingo.
    2. Indicating sudden or eventual success, discovery or pleasure.
Etymology: 1920s: perhaps simply an imitation of the sound of a bell rung when someone has won the game.
