    1. Filled with a new spiritual life; converted or reconverted, especially to a fundamentalist or evangelical Christian faith.
    2. colloq
      Showing a new and passionate enthusiasm for some particular cause, activity or lifestyle, etc.
      Example: a born-again vegetarian
Etymology: 1960s from the biblical passage (John 3) in which Jesus states that noone can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
