    1. A measurement of length, width or height.
    2. Any directly measurable physical quantity, eg mass, length, time, charge.
      Thesaurus: size, scope, magnitude, bulk, scale, measurement, amplitude, range.
    3. geom.
      The number of parameters that are needed to specify the size of a geometrical figure, and the location of particular points on it, eg a triangle has two dimensions, whereas a pyramid has three dimensions.
    4. Size or extent.

    5. A particular aspect of a problem, situation, etc.
      Example: the religious dimension of the problem
