    1. A leaf of a manuscript, etc, numbered on one side.
    2. printing.
      A page number in a book.
    3a. A body of written work, etc, submitted as part of an examination.
      Example: Your English folio must be completed by March

      Example: Folio pieces must be handwritten
    4a. historical
      A sheet of paper folded once to make two leaves for a book;
    4b. historical
      A book of the largest size, composed of such sheets.
    5. old use
      A folder. Also as adj.
      Example: a folio edition
