    1. An annual or biennial plant with finely-divided bright green curly aromatic leaves, used fresh or dried as a culinary herb, and also used fresh as a garnish.
    2. Any of various similar or related plants.
      Example: cow parsley
Etymology: Anglo-Saxon, from Greek petroselinon rock-parsley, from petra rock + selinon parsley.
